Brief Summary . . . because we want to continue playing and no one wants to listen to me 'Jading'

Gazing into You

Act One - Demons Come Calling:
An ordinary day turned sour for our three characters: Jack, I FUCK CORPSES and Tyrrhenus. Ogma (Mr Gluttony) and Niamh (Miss Lust), the other occupants of the beach house, were away on business or otherwise engaged (e.g Aids).

Spirits manifest in the beach house, trying to possess the characters, eventually appearing in the character's own image. After a grueling battle Jack, I FUCK CORPSES and Tyrrhenus seek to find answers as to what attacked them and why. And their research and use of magical abilities leads them to house of Adam where they are greeted with his bleeding body in the hallway and the splattered corpse of what used to be his assistant. After healing him they question him on the spirits that attacked him and discover that Adam was responsible for summoning these spirits. Although angry with Adam's actions the party agrees to help him find and banish the spirits before too much harm is done.

Act Two- Sloth:
Sloth is the first spirit that the party hunt. Being an embodiment of laziness, it does not take long for the party to realise that the spirit itself must be near to Adam's house. Through T's Consilium connections they discover the location of Hallow near to Adam's house.
They find sloth, latched on to some bleachers, where a homeless man died last summer. I FUCK CORPSES uses her powers to communicate with the spirit of the dead man who helps pull sloth from away from the bleachers. The party work together to figure out how to get rid of sloth. After discussing their options they entice the spirit to go into a pizza box, the perfect example of what sloth loves. They take the spirit home with them but realise that they have a lurking accident waiting to happen right underneath their noses. And so they threaten and reason with Sloth, convincing and scaring out of existence.
They receive a phone call from a hospital orderly asking them to visit Paul (Adam) in hospital. And so the chapter ends.

Driving Angry

After hearing about Adam's (or Paul's) house fire from the hospital orderly, the party decide to check out his house for clues. They arrive in M's SUV and begin to find clues as to the fire's origins. M learns from neighbours nearby that a figure was seen hanging around the house holding something that could have been a gas can. Jack learns that he can twist people around his little finger quite easily and succeeds in gaining access to the house. Using his magic he looks back in time to see himself setting fire to the house. The party conclude that Envy is involved. Although Jack does try and confuse the others by questioning if he is Envy or Jack at the current moment.

Eventually they come to the hospital and speak to Adam. He tells them that he believes that Wrath was behind the attack. But says little more about it. He concludes that regardless of who or what set fire to his house, he must rest to regain his mana and his strength and Wrath should be the next priority for the team since it could probably do the most damage to the Sleepers.

After pursuing a few different lines of investigation into the possible whereabouts of Wrath, the party discover that a shooting occurred at a diner and that the perpetrator matches the description (mostly) of a woman described by the Consilium to have never made her delivery.

They go off in search of this woman, resulting in a mini chase on the highway to Boston. They succeed in talking her down but her struggle against the spirit inside her makes many drivers-by suspicious and the police are called to the scene. In a cunning plan to divert attention away from Amelia, Jack starts a gang war and diverts the police attention to the new emergency.

Anyway, glancing over a bit . . . they all return to the Hallow (Beach House) eventually, after M has to pay off Jack's taxi driver . . .

The chapter ends with a period of recuperation for Adam and Amelia before the grilling from the Consilium takes place . . .

A Nest Of Vipers

This act begins with the party plus Adam travelling to Salem for their meeting with the Consilium. Adam warns and informs the party about the different people he knows about within the Consilium. He also admits that he doesn't know what to expect from them, punishment wise and accepts full responsibility for everything that has happened.

The party arrive at Cormant House and are greeted by the cold eyes of Anacaona de Xaragua. They proceed to the main board room and are met by Chain and an allusive figure in a black jumper who doesn't say much.
Introductions are made and Chain asks that Adam explain his actions and at a certain point he interrupts and asks for the party to continue the story. Jack, in all his Irishness, explains what happened after finding Adam wounded in his home and mentions how they defecated into a pizza box to get rid of Sloth and how he may have started a gang war between some of the Boston fuckin' Mick people and some black gang members. Adam is told to wait downstairs whilst Chain thinks upon his fate.

The whole meeting is compromised by the fact that both Chain and the person in the room are infected with Envy, Jack's vice. The other man is Enoch and he accuses Jack of being a thief, to which of course, Jack denies. But it is useless to argue with Enoch and Chain is not of much use either. Enoch challenges Jack to a duel. For a moment this seems like something that the party cannot avoid but Anacaona de Xaragua is called into the room and she manages to calm things down a little and tells Chain and Enoch do get their act together.

Things are okay for a moment, until Adam is called back into the room and Chain delivers his unfair punishment. This shocks Anacaona de Xaragua and Enoch and things escalate. Jack is almost possessed by the spirit of Envy. The spirit comes into its form before everybody as an exact double of Jack.

And so the battle began.

Anacaona de Xaragua used her powers to confine the spirit to the room for a certain amount of time.
Jack, whilst being protected by M and T, used his magic to view possible futures and discovers the spirit's ban; it cannot abide charity.

And so the party fight the spirit by being kind to it and offering it money and help etc.

In defeating the spirit, Amelia feels the Wrath spirit within in her weaken.

Chain is shaken by the events and concludes that he will punish Adam in due time but establishes that his priority and the priority of the Cabal should be the elimination of these vice spirits. However, since the spirits have attached themselves to the Cabal and Adam, Chain also tells them not to visit the Consilium without prior word, to prevent such events happening again.

The party leave. Jack tries to take a chair. M invited Amelia into the Cabal and she accepts. The drive back to Quincy is quiet as Adam contemplates his fate.

Siren's Song

This one had them feels going for it.

This act takes place some time after the events of the previous act.
To bring everyone up to date: People buy shit, Jack tries it on with Morrigan, Tyrrhenus is in a relationship with Amelia and so on and so forth.

The lack of interaction with any of the spirits worries the party members.

Tyrrhenus gets the ball rolling with the use of his Dream ability to gain insight into what should be done next. He sees a beautiful woman lounging on a huge cushioned dais. Four men, naked to the waist, surround and guard her. As he approaches, he see that the woman is actually a mermaid, and that her tail glimmers blue and gold. One of men stops him, saying, “ That ’s close enough, Tyrrhenus.”

From this they draw on the fact that the next spirit must be lust and so Amelia, Tyrrhenus, Jack and Morrigan all venture to a strip club which Tyrrhenus' uncle and cousin own in the hope to find the spirit or some clues as to its whereabouts. Tony (Tyrrhenus) is greeted by his cousin, who constantly jabs him saying "Eh, I didn't know you were into this kind of thing."
After some time in the club the party gather information relevant to their current mission. They discover a common link through their magics and that is Chain. Chain appears in a picture in Jack's mind showing the owner of the boat and he also appears in a picture at the strip club, stood next to Tyrrhenus' uncle.
And so, eventually, Chain is contacted and he says that he can arrange a meeting with the boat's owner so that the party can try and get themselves tickets.
The meeting is arranged and Jack has to wear a suit. Morrigan pays.

The meeting takes place at a posh hotel, which has its own casino inside. The party meet with Chain who warns them that the owner may be some time to see how they mingle in the crowds. And so they drink in the bar awaiting his arrival. And so on, getting bored now, we know what happened. . .

After a lot of lying and sweet talking everyone manages to secure a ticket for the boat.
And then lots of casino winning happens, followed by lots of sex, followed by a horrible hangover.

The night of the boat trip comes --
Amelia of course, does not actually attend as it may turn violent when they search for Lust.
Jack, Morrigan and Tyrrhenus go on board and begin searching for Lust. Tyrrhenus finds a heap room. And Morrigan and Jack engage in a threesome with another woman. All kinds of strange stuff happens on the boat, it is after all and orgy ship.

Eventually they come across a door marked private. Tyrrhenus turns invisible as Jack and Morrigan are asked inside. They go into the room to find the spitting image of Nimah in a robe, sat on the edge of a round bed, with four guards around her.

The whole scene has feels with Lust confessing she meant none any harm. She is reduced in essence as the company explain to her that she is just a spirit and even if she didn't set out to harm anyone, she has done so. Morrigan and Jack discuss a plan privately outside the room whilst Tyrrhenus talks things over with Lust, discovering that she is too scared to go home.

Eventually, the feels get to the party and they compromise with Lust. They make a deal that means she can manifest at a predetermined time and place, once a month at least, and engage in activities with Morrigan and Jack. She agrees. And is thankful.
